The event brought together over 400 researchers to discuss the geography of innovation, technological change, and spatial inequalities. Conference highlights: 345 parallel session presentations, including special and general tracks, 3 keynote lectures, 3 plenary panel discussions with 16 panellists, a Meet the Editors session with representatives from 11 academic journals.
Balázs Lengyel was one of the main organisers, with several ANETILab members contributing to the local organising committee. Scientifically, 10 ANETILab researchers presented their work, with 13 papers co-authored by ANETILab members.
ANETILab contributions addressed key themes including supply chains, labour markets and skills, AI and the geography of science, urban mobility and spatial inequalities, and universities within regional innovation systems.
