Gergő Tóth is the recipient of this year’s Excellent Young Regional Scientist Award of the Hungarian section of ERSA

Congratulations to Gergő Tóth, 2025 recipient of the Excellent Young Regional Scientist Award of the Hungarian Regional Science Association (HRSA), the Hungarian section of ERSA, for his outstanding contributions to research and teaching. The HRSA launched the award in 2009 to recognise the work of young scholars under 35 in the field of regional science, and to draw attention to outstanding performance and exemplary professional and community activity in the field.

We are happy to acknowledge that out of seventeen award recipients since 2009, four work at the ANETI Lab, as the founder and head of the Lab, Balázs Lengyel received the award in 2012, Zoltán Elekes in 2019, László Czaller in 2024, and now Gergő Tóth in 2025.
