BIO

Johannes studies social, technical, and economic networks and their effects on society using methods of data and network science. Recently he is especially interested in the social and economic impact of software, especially open source and AI. He has a PhD in Network Science from CEU, and before joining Corvinus University and the Institute of Economics he was a postdoc at RWTH Aachen and an assistant professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He is also affiliated with the Complexity Science Hub Vienna.
