Virág Ilyés has received the Junior Prima Prima Prize

Virág Ilyés has been awarded the Junior Prima Prize in the category of "Hungarian Science" in 2024. Virág has become one of the few economists who have received this recognition since the establishment of the Prize.

The Hungarian Development Bank and the Prima Primissima Foundation launched the "Hungarian Science" category of the Junior Prima Prize in 2007. Since then, the Junior Prima Prize has become one of the most prestigious awards given to early career scholars in the country. The prize is awarded to scientists under the age of 33 who have made a significant contribution to the development of Hungarian science through their outstanding scientific work, international achievements, educational and community-building activities.
