KTI70 Conference

The Institute of Economics turns 70 this year. The Institute, previously at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, now at HUN-REN Centre for Economic and Regional Studies, is a stronghold of reseach in economics in Hungary and has been a fantastic home for ANETI since 2017.

To celebrate the anniversary, we are organizing a scientific conference on October 21-22 in Budapest. ANETI will run three sessions on "Social and collaboration networks", "Urban mobility", "Economic interactions and labor markets".

Speakers will include a keynote by Frank Neffke (Complexity Science Hub), and invited talks by Neave O'Clery (University College London), Márton Karsai (Central European University), Riccardo Di Clemente (Northeastern University), Gergő Galiger and Patrik Tóth (Budapesti Közlekedési Központ), András Borsos (Central Bank of Hungary), and László Lőrincz, Dima Yankova, Brigitta Németh, Sándor Juhász, Gergő Pintér from ANETI.
