Congratulations to László Czaller who is the 2024 recipient of the Excellent Young Regional Scientist Award of the Hungarian Regional Science Association (HRSA), the Hungarian section of ERSA, for his outstanding contributions to research and teaching. The HRSA launched the award in 2009 to recognise the work of young scholars under 35 in the field of regional science, and to draw attention to outstanding performance and exemplary professional and community activity in the field.

We are happy to say that out of sixteen award recipients since 2009, three are working at the ANETI Lab, as the founder and head of the Lab, Balázs Lengyel has received the award in 2012, while Zoltán Elekes has received it in 2019.
